Material Planner/ Master Scheduler

Your mission
Responsibilities:
  • Identify, negotiate, and resolve conflicts related to material and capacity availability, as well as order integrity;
  • Plan raw materials/components purchasing from initial procurement to product launch (“from zero to finished product”);
  • Plan, schedule, and release orders for production, aftermarket (repairs and spare parts), NPI (New Product Introduction), PPP, and interplant orders;
  • Review and respond daily to all MRP messages, as necessary;
  • Create and maintain planning BOMs; identify opportunities to restructure BOMs and add phantom items;
  • Assist management in handling constraints, resource utilization, and overtime needs;
  • Support transition plans and update planning parameters (dependencies, material ownership codes, lead times, lot sizes, etc.);
  • Assist teams with NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), ATRs (Action to Rework), and/or RW (Rework) orders;
  • Continuously improve planning and scheduling processes to reduce lead times and enhance production efficiency;
  • Provide committed delivery dates, offer timely feedback on schedule changes, and communicate unmet demand with recommended alternatives to satisfy customer requirements;
  • Release, manage and close production work orders;
  • Understand production capacity level and drive forecast adjustments;
  • Proactively manage supply plans with internal and external suppliers;
  • Collaborate with key departments (Procurement, Sales, Logistics/Shipping) and support and mentor new team members;
  • Create regular reports to support management analysis of trends, production, production orders’ status and performance.
Your profile
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business related field, engineering or manufacturing processes;
  • 5+ years of professional experience in material planning;
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Business Central);
  • Understanding and experience maintaining Master Production Schedule, including the ability to revise it when needed;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Good understanding of Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP II);
  • Strong knowledge of planning functions and roles;
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes is desirable;
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a strong command of English language;
  • Ability to participate in continuous improvement and problem-solving projects.
